Road Race on May 2, 2009. Maggie was Jeremy’s
saunier for the day, handing him bottles in the pro race.
The first road race of the season went pretty well. Paul and Jon rode smart at the front of the pack, but not on the front. When the field split the first time over the climb they were in the front group of about 20. Three guys got away on the first lap so DSS Cycling and the rest of the guys in the front group were racing for fourth. The second time over the climb to the finish, the guys found themselves near the back of the front group. Paul finished somewhere around 15th with Jon around 20th. All in all not a bad day.
