So I come home today and there is a package from VDV!!!! This is the Jersey he was wearing when he crashed out 10K from the finish of the 3d stage of the 2009 Giro. OMG! I can't decide if I am happy or not cause I soooo wish he hadn't been injured. But this is totally going to be framed! Inside is a signed poster for my kids AND the signed, battle scarred jersey from the '09 Giro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an awesome dude! He is totally my adopted nephew!
